The Sprflex L-Jaw Coupling utilises a simple design that sandwiches a flexible rubber element between two hubs. The hubs are lightweight, being made of aluminum alloy, and the rubber elements have excellent dampening properties. The simple construction sandwiches a spider (rubber buffer) between hubs, so the shaft coupling is easily mounted or removed by moving the device in the axial direction. Mounting on a shaft is quick and easy, by simply holding a straight-edge to the hub periphery to center it.
