Stainless steel Ball screw
Abssac announces a new stainless steel ballscrew to compliment its extensive miniature ball screw ranges. Available in 6, 8 and 10mm diameters with leads of either 1 or 2mm the new SUS series offers cumulative lead error of only 2x0.052mm per 300mm with an axial clearance of 0.020 mm.

Stress Relief
The flawless production techniques of the Heli-Cal beam flexible shaft coupling avoid stress-raising areas found in other cross-slot designs. Cross slot designs have their purpose if torsional stiffness within the system is of paramount importance and that angular and parallel shaft misalignments are minimal.

9150Nm Stainless Ujoint
Our Universal joint product has just passed extensive testing connecting an electric motor to a compressor for use in large cold store as part of a national refurbishment. Using 303 Stainless steel a possible static torque of up 9150Nm (81000lbin) could be transmitted.
