These are double-clutch/brake units unlike any other that combine two clutches (101-[ ]-15) with a brake (111-[ ]-12) in a compact form factor.They provide high-precision positioning and applied control of complex operations from a single unit. The hub is used as the input for two-stage speed-change/fixed position stopping/high-precision forward-reverse operation. The output shaft is braked when clutch current is shut off and the brake is energised in response.
