Abssac is now stocking solid compression-type Steel couplings. Offering sizes to accomodate 6mm to 50mm bore sizes, the rigid coupling, as it is sometimes termed, has no flexibility but can effectively be used to connect two shafts to make a permanent joint.

ETP helps connect power transmission
When it comes to quick, accurate and reliable shaft to hub connection the is a winner. All ETP products consist of a double-walled hardened steel (in some cases stainless steel) sleeve, which is filled with a pressure medium. Housed in the product flange there are one or more screws and a piston with integrated seals for the pressure adjustment.

Abssac has been invited to become an affiliate member of the PPMA Processing & Packaging Machinery Association. The PPMA is the UK's trade association for suppliers of processing and packaging machinery to the UK market and represents over 400 member and associate companies.

VEX Robotics U.K Nationals – 12/03/15-14/03/15
Continuing with our sponsorship and following the qualification of team 5638X – The De Montfort School (TDMS) Robotics Titan, it was time for the National Finals, being run in conjunction with the Big Bang Fair at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC), with places at the World Finals in Louisville, Kentucky in the U.
