The Breakdown Before Christmas!

The sleigh bells are ringing, the elves are singing, and the workshop is buzzing with festive cheer!

But imagine the panic when, the day before the big delivery, crucial parts of Father Christmas's legendary sleigh suddenly ground to a halt.  The steering jammed, the drive shaft was seriously wobbly and the landing gear seized.

The elves were in a flap! The snowman was on the verge of a meltdown! Christmas was at risk!

That's when Father Christmas remembered a little-known secret to his workshop's success, ABSSAC Ltd. He gave us a call, and our emergency elves (also known as our expert engineers) sprang into action!

We rushed over with a sack-full of linear motion, power transmission, and vibration damping solutions.  We replaced the jammed steering with a machined ready to fit leadscrew and nut, we upgraded the wobbly drive shaft with a torsionally stiff bellows coupling and we fixed the landing gear with a splined flexible coupling.

Panic over, ABSSAC has rescued Christmas Eve and Father Christmas can complete his deliveries with confidence.
