Ball screws that have been cold rolled formed are ideal for applications that do not require the finite accuracy of the ground ball screw equivalents, but are still required to reliably transmit a linear load with high degree of accuracy.
Put simply, the rolling process forms a thread for less cost than grinding. However, we can still achieve accuracies of C7-20 (that's 52 microns per 300mm of lead accuracy - 20 microns of axial backlash).We have 30 years of experience in ball screws, to help guide you through the selection process to ensure the right part is chosen for the application. In a nut shell, the rolled ball screw ranges encompass;
4mm to 14mm diameter rolled ball screw with 1mm to 6mm lead variants. This is our most compact nut design. Mounting is via external keyway offering the smallest nut diameter and length possible. 2D and 3D drawings available on request.
4mm to 20mm diameter rolled ball screws with 1mm to 20mm lead variants. It is the most simple single nut type ball screw we offer. The nut should be mounted to the application via the bolt holes in flange. 2D and 3D CAD files upon request.
4mm to 14mm diameter rolled ball screws with 1mm to 5mm lead variants. A cylindrical nut type with a metric thread mount attachment which keeps the nut diameter to a minimum . Ideal for mounting directly into a cylindrical housing. 2D and 3D drawings available on request.
4mm to 15mm diameter rolled ball screws with 4mm to 20mm lead variants. Fixed and supported side end-journals are unfinished which greatly increases the end journal options. Also available in stainless steel (SSR series).
4mm to 12mm diameter rolled ball screws with 1mm to 10mm lead variants. Fixed side, end-journal is set up bigger than shaft nominal diameter and is unfinished. This allows more design flexibility compared to current rolled ball screws. It is possible to design end-journal configuration compatible with SG series. There are also Integrated rolled ball screws made of stainless steel (SSRT series) available for quick delivery.
End Journal machining
Our machining capability gives you a high journal concentricity product and can be applied to all screws regardless of diameter. Lets work together to reduce your scrap rates and supply ball solutions that fit your application every time. We can work directly from your dimensional drawings or if they do not exist, why not supply us with a physical sample for us to copy. Although all types of end machine detail can be supplied we offer a very cost effective basic end journal machining that fits our range of support bearings
Linear guides and rails

If you are interested in the using the transport ball screw ranges, do not forget that we also supply the full range of linear guides and rails which can provide the load support in your linear mechanism. Offering excellent rigidity and parallelism during operation the guides can be used in both vertical and horizontal planes.

Greases and Lubricants
We provide a full range of quality, low cost lubricants for all our linear products including low vapour pressure greases for clean room and vacuum applications. For example the new Trigel line is specifically formulated to offer a lubrication solution for a wide range of linear motion applications. Please ask for further details. Grease features include, Temperature range -30°C to 150°C, Revolutionary multi-complex soap technology, Greatly extended lubrication intervals typically 3 times longer than conventional soap thickened greases, Good corrosion resistance. Some greases are supplied blue in colour for high visibility.
