Abssac’s unique range of ultra fine lead, Vee thread form screws are ideal for finite movement linear applications. Using 303 Stainless steel and 1018 steel, with the proven cold rolled process to manufacture, the screws are available in diameters from 6mm up to .500 inch, with leads as fine as .0125inch ( .3175mm) as standard. The lead screws are also available in both right hand and left hand formats.
Utilizing a Vee thread format design, the precision screws are ideal for ultra precision linear movement on a budget. The full range of antibacklash nuts can be tapped to suit the screws ranges are also available.This is a precision rolled product - The 60 degree UNIFIED NATIONAL (UN) thread form is commonly used in short lead (fine-pitch) linear motion applications. e.g. the micro movement on hand wheel adjustment tables. Abssac supplies both the screw and the tapped nuts in plastics and bronze to suit this product.
Precision rolled UN V threads have a 2A thread fit (3A upon request). The lead error over the length of the screw is 0.003 " maximum per foot. All V threaded screws are imperially sized in inches.

Greases and Lubricants
We provide a full range of quality, low cost lubricants for all our linear products including low vapour pressure greases for clean room and vacuum applications. For example the new Trigel line is specifically formulated to offer a lubrication solution for a wide range of linear motion applications. Please ask for further details. Grease features include, Temperature range -30°C to 150°C, Revolutionary multi-complex soap technology, Greatly extended lubrication intervals typically 3 times longer than conventional soap thickened greases. Good corrosion resistance. Some greases are supplied blue in colour for high visibility.
